Use a custom event domain

Connect a dedicated subdomain, verify routing, and renew or remove it.

Where to go
Open the event → Branding → Custom event domain.
Who can use it
Event manager with DNS access and help from the deployment administrator.
Jump to a task

Connect your subdomain

  1. Check that custom domains are enabled for this deployment.
  2. Enter a dedicated subdomain, such as events.yourcompany.com, in New domain.
  3. Select Save domain & get DNS records.
  4. Add the displayed CNAME and _netfyo TXT records at your DNS provider.
  5. Ask the deployment administrator to provision this hostname and its certificate in Cloudflare for SaaS.
  6. Select Test routing, then Check DNS and TLS. Resolve the displayed error until the mapping is active.

What happens nextThe verified hostname serves the public event page. Registration, account, and payment links continue on Netfyo.

Renew verification

  1. Read the verification expiry shown beside the domain.
  2. Keep the DNS records and hostname provisioning in place.
  3. Select Test routing and Check DNS and TLS again.

What happens nextA successful check renews verification.

Replace or remove a domain

  1. To replace it, save another domain and complete verification again.
  2. To stop serving the current custom URL, select Remove domain.
  3. Remove unused DNS records and the Cloudflare hostname separately.

What happens nextThe old mapping stops serving the event immediately. The event’s Netfyo link remains available.
