Scan a ticket online

  1. Open the event’s check-in screen and allow camera access when prompted.
  2. Start the scanner and point it at the attendee’s ticket QR.
  3. Read the result before admitting the guest. Continue with the next ticket.
  4. Select Stop scanner when finished.

What happens nextA valid, eligible ticket records attendance. A duplicate is shown as already checked in.

Check in without a camera

  1. Search for the guest’s name, email, or QR value on Check-in or the staff lookup panel.
  2. Confirm the attendee and ticket belong to this event.
  3. Use Check in on an eligible registration.

What happens nextThe same ticket verification is used without scanning the camera.

Resolve a scan problem

  1. For No matching registration, confirm the event and use the ticket’s actual QR rather than a general event link.
  2. For pending or unpaid tickets, ask registration or finance staff to resolve the status.
  3. For Already checked in, inspect the existing attendance instead of creating another guest.
  4. If the camera fails, allow browser permission or use manual lookup.

What happens nextYou can route the issue to the correct staff member.

These screens do not provide an undo-check-in control. The simple check-in screen uses an online verification request; use the prepared staff scanner for supported offline work.
